READERS RATE THE ROSENTHAL MATERIALS AS OUTSTANDING!
Greetings Dr. Rosenthal! I thought I'd share with you some fun I had with my class last March-I was the subject of
several jabs for taking your book with me on Spring Break to Mexico. Here I am pictured reading your book in front of the
huge Marlin that is at the Manzanillo water front. My studious ways paid off-as I passed the NCE with flying colors!
Yours was the only material I studied, and I'm just glad it was available. Just for laughs, I might listen to one of your
audio CDs once in awhile to recall those splendid days! Thanks again. You gotta love it!!
Best Regards,
Martin Miller
Your
book Therapy's Best is simply brilliant. A must read referance for any human services student.

Dr. Rosenthal:
I am writing
to thank you for the Encyclopedia of Counseling. I purchased a copy to prepare for the NCE. A colleague loaned
me the audio CD’s and I listened to all of the content parts as well. I had planned to study with a group of my
fellow students, but because of the way your book was done, with all questions, I decided to study alone and do each question
as if it was a test. I covered up the answer for each one and wrote down the answer. I kept track and scored myself
as I was going along. Granted some of the questions were ‘gimmees’ because 2-3 questions in a row were the
same, but I averaged 83.7% correct over the course of the 1050 questions.
On the exam I scored 134,
which is 83.75%. For me, your text was an incredibly accurate indicator of my performance on the exam. I have
to tell you though, my confidence level was like a roller coaster as I progressed through the book. I would get 10-12
correct in a row and start feeling really good about myself.
Not knowing what I needed to score going
into the test made me a little nervous, but you state in the book that approximately the 60-70% mark is passing, so I felt
good about my chances. I have a 4.0 GPA in my graduate program, and my undergrad cumulative GPA was 3.97/4.0,
so I am a good student. I hoped that my academic preparation and your book would get me through it and it did!!
I went back to school in 2001 at age 41 and have gotten an AA in Liberal Arts, BA in Psychology, and will
complete my MA in Counseling this August. Passing this exam has made it all worthwhile.
Keep doing
what you are doing to assist counselors to pass this exam.
Thanks again. Please feel free to use any of my comments in your
promotional materials.

Dr. Rosenthal,
I received your CD’s and Encyclopedia of Counseling
last summer (2008), knowing I needed to study for the CPCE and pass before receiving my master’s degree in Marriage
& Family Therapy. Life was (and still is) very hectic, as then I was completing my coursework while doing my practicum/internship
and working a part time job to make ends meet. It wasn’t until I had a set date to take the exam in December that I
started listening to your CD’s on the way back and forth to the internship in November. I figured that this test
in December would be a trial run, and did not in any way expect to pass it. My thoughts were that the worst case scenario
would be that I would take it again in the Spring, just in time for graduation, but I’d know more of what I needed to
study for. I barely finished listening to the main CD’s the week before and THEN listened to the boot camp, then the
relaxation CD (which I wish I would have done first!).
As you have probably already guessed, I passed the first time!
There is no way I would have done so well without your CD’s and with my experience in a public mental health
practicum/internship (I had 16 of 18 correct in the helping area). I have to prepare for the NCE in the next few months, and
will definitely be going though the CD’s again. I did pass! Not too bad for a 50 year old Grandmother just finishing
her degree. I can’t thank you enough for your materials.

Dear Dr. Rosenthal,
I wanted to take a moment to
let you know how the Encyclopedia of Counseling and your CDs helped me easily pass the NCE here in Chicago on 4/18/09.
I have to admit, I did not spend as much time with your materials as I should have, yet I passed the NCE with a score of 127
(passing grade was 94). Who knows how well I could have done had I started my study process a few weeks sooner!
Being in the final semester of my counseling internship, I was also required to recently take a Departmental
Proficiency Examination as a requirement for graduation. For some reason, I got the dates confused in my mind and found
that the test was being given about three weeks sooner than I had anticipated (a "senior moment," I suppose).
I didn't see the error of my ways until about three days before the test. Now what do I do?? I spent those days
listening to the "Boot Camp" CD while driving to and from work, and in spare moments. I sat for the test on
6/6/09, and am very pleased (and relieved) to report that I also passed my Departmental exam with no problem.
Thanks once again for providing THE BEST tool for preparing for these exams.
Sincerely,
Tom Holler
Hey Dr Rosenthal,
You are the Man! No really, You are The Man!
I am a guy who has been out of graduate school for 14 years.
Over the past 5 years, I actually had to take 5 additional courses in order to sit for the NCE. I ordered your Audio CD's
and received the Encyclopedia of Counseling 15th Anniversary Edition as a gift from a friend. From late August to October
I listened to your CD's on the way to work and back and read the encyclopedia of counseling cover to cover twice. I used the
Boot Camp review and the Relaxation CD as well.
All my life I have been a very average standardized test
taker. My SAT and GRE's were right at the 50th percentile. I made good grades in school but somehow I always seemed to crash
on big standardized exams. NOT THIS TIME!!!
After using your materials and following your instructions,
I ripped a score of 141 out of 160 on the NCE. I am talking a Z score of ++2.0, and a boost to my confidence that words cannot
explain. I honestly could not believe my score when the proctor handed it to me. It took me a minute to understand what had
just happened. I had blown the roof off the exam!!! Me...An older average guy with grey hair and a son in college. I can not
thank you enough for your program. The audio learning and review question CD's and the well written encyclopedia were not
only entertaining but the organized material, mnemonic devices and humor made my study experience a joy!
Again
Dr. Rosenthal You are the Man!!!

Good Morning Dr. Rosenthal,
I am probably the happiest person on the planet right now. Not too long ago, in June to be precise, I wrote to you
about the Mastery kit for the NCE. I received the material quite alright but was unable to start studying. I postponed
my exam date from September 8, 2008 to October 6, 2008. I will not say I spent 2 months studying for the exam, In fact, I
believe if I calculate the total amount of weeks I spent studying the materials it will probably be about 3 weeks.
Your encyclopedia is precise, easy to read, funny at times (I chuckled out loud a lot that my family wondered what was going
on with me). I would like to have you as professor any day, even my husband said so. The audio sessions were superb.
What can I really say that you don't already know about your program? I say all these to say that I took the NCE yesterday,
and I passed. I was so happy that I started crying. If I had your number, I would have called you from the exam.
center yesterday. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, AND I PRAY THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO REWARD YOUR EFFORTS AS YOU ASSIST RISING
COUNSELORS AS MYSELF. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU.
WITH MUCH GRATITUDE,

Dear Dr. Rosenthal,
You are a very modest man. On your website you state that at best your program
would be a supplement for a psychology grad studying for the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP). I'm
writing to say that I did not understand the explanations in the learning theory section of my EPPP study guides. I say study
guides plural, because I have two of them for the EPPP. One of them alone set me back over $1000.00. Panic was beginning to
set in. Luckily, a friend at my health club who is studying to be a counselor told me about your audio program. I kid you
not when I say that your explanations were flat out better and way easier to comprehend than the lectures in either of those
high price tag EPPP programs. What surprised me the most was that you even covered a huge chunk of information they left out
and certainly your presentations are more interesting. And yes, the memory devices on classical conditioning worked for me!
Ginger Web
Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
I studied with your CDs and book for about 6 to 8 hours a week for
a little less than one month and passed the NCE here in Chicago on Friday with a score of 138/160. Nationally, the latest
statistics show the highest scores to be around 125. The passing score on my exam was 99. In other words, I killed it!
More importantly, I have been out of graduate school for more than 2 years and have not been employed in a position
requiring the regular usage or awareness of counseling or psychological terminology. In fact, much of what I learned
in school seemed like a distant memory but your CDs quickly brought a lot of that information back.
Thank you
for your materials, they really are the best!
Ryan
I wanted to share the news with you that I
passed the NCE - Yeah! Thank you!!! I found your Mastery kit very helpful in helping me pass this exam the second time
around. The CDs provided an excellent review and kept me busy listening while in commuter traffic. I am very happy
to report to you and hope others will hop on board with the study materials.
Warmest Regards,

Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
I contacted you a few weeks ago re:
your CPCE study CDs. I took your advice, ordered the CDs, listened to every single one within the week.....and received the
2nd highest score in my school (NYU).
The person who came in first was the friend who recommended the CDs to me.Thanks!
We really enjoyed the lessons. Miss listening to you!
Thanks again,

Dr. Rosenthal,
This past Saturday I received notification that I had passed the NCE in order to become a Licensed
Professional Counselor in Georgia. I was so excited because I thought that I had failed the exam. Your CD's and
Encyclopedia of Counseling were responsible for me passing. I completed my Masters in Counseling 30 years ago and returned
to the counseling field only 3 years ago. Your study materials for the NCE were right on target. Thanks
again.

Dear Dr. Rosenthal,
I just took the NCE and
passed last week. Thank you for your wonderful study guide. I don't think I would have passed without it. I listened to your
CDs and read through the Encyclopedia of Counseling book. You really helped me not be too nervous for the test, and I actually
enjoyed studying for it!
Thank you.

Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
Just a note from a successful satisfied customer. I passed! (136/160)
I really felt prepared and actually did enjoy listening to your audio program and reading the encyclopedia. Appreciated your
“test hints” and your upbeat style. I only wish you had a similar program to help me prepare for the EPPP.
The ones I’ve heard are pretty boring.

Hello Dr.
Rosenthal,
I am writing from Chickasha, Oklahoma. I am a Professional School Counselor who has been in the LPC process
for almost three years now. I started studying about 1 1/2 years ago. I have taken the NCE 4 times prior to getting the CDs
and going online to the counselingexam.com website. I scored a 78 prior to reading and listening to your wonderful CDs and
reading the "Encyclopedia of Counseling." After this happened I scored a 94 but the cut was 99 so I said keep
studying and I just took the NCE for the 5th time and I PASSED. I was SO EXCITED. If any one reads this and thinks that persistance
does not pay then they need to get your materials prior to taking the NCE or any other EXAM. I feel WITHOUT A DOUBT that I
would not have PASSED THE NCE if I did not have your materials. THANK YOU for the great materials. It is my hope that ALL
studying for the NCE get your materials NOW.
One Greatful Customer,
Kevin E. Mellencamp
Dear Dr.
Howard:
Last May I purchased the Valedictorian Master Course to prepare for the NBCC National Counselor Examination.
I recently took the exam and am pleased to report that I passed with 32 points above the minimum passing score. The CD program
and Enclyclopedia of Counseling were my primary study sources and provided an excellent source of material that covered all
aspects of the NCE examination. I highly recommend the Valedictorian Master Course for anyone planning to take the NCE examination.
The material is well organized, covers all essential aspects of the subjects to be tested, and makes studying and learning
the material enjoyable and less stressful.
Richard Capriola
Dr. Rosenthal:
Your materials
(combined with the counselingexam.com site) helped me pass the NCE (143), thank you! The mean score was 115.37.

Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
Your products live up to the claims. Thank you so
much for the fabulous products you have developed that make studying for the NCE a much less daunting task. I used your
CD's, Encyclopedia and Dictionary to study for the NCE which I took in April 2007. I passed with a high score and felt very
well prepared for the exam. Your CD's are so engaging that it makes learning the material fun and easy. Your books are also
very well designed to enhance learning and retention.
A classmate purchased another well-known NCE Prep program
that contained a large manual but no CD's. I had planned to study from her manual one weekend, but it was so boring
and confusing that I put it aside feeling confident that I had a better test prep product.
I've recommended your
NCE test prep system to several people and think your products are also great to use while your taking classes. Thanks again
for the time and thought you put in to developing a highly effective test prep program.

Dear Dr. Rosenthal:
The moment has finally come when I can send this email to you. I am, at last, one of
the many, many others who have used your material (Encyclopedia of Counseling, along with your CD's) to study for the National
Counselor Exam who can say: I PASSED!!!
Thank you so much; I couldn't have done it without you. Your book was informative,
friendly and fun. I will miss driving back and forth to work, listening to your CD's. (OK. I admit it; I drove my car even
when I had no destination, just to listen to your audios!)
The exam was much more grueling than I'd imagined, even
though I entered the testing site telling everyone that I would be getting 160 questions correct. NOT!! Phew! Who WRITES those
questions?!
Anyway, after much crying---from joy--last night, I had to sit down and send this fan letter to you.
Thanks a mill.
Lisa DeVries, NCC
Dear Dr. Rosenthal,
Well, I'll temporarily dispense
with humility and exclaim to you,
I PASSED THE NATIONAL COUNSELOR EXAMINATION AND THE MARYLAND STATE LAW TEST (April
21st administration)!
I just received the results today, opening the envelope with a pounding heart and trembling hands!
I feel so grateful to you for writing and producing the study guide materials and the audio disks and for doing
so in such an organized and affirming manner. The way your questions build upon each other and promote success had kept up
my morale and study pace.
....
Again, thank you so much for your role in my achievement,

Hello Dr. Rosenthal
I just passed the NCE exam and I wanted to say thank you for your incredible
book "The Encyclopedia of Counseling" and your CD collection. This was instrumental in my passing the NCE to obtain
my licensure in Ohio. Your book and training CD made studying fun and your additional boot camp and test anxiety supplements
were great. I will recommend your work to all of my fellow graduates and students at the Community and Rehabilitation Counseling
Program at Ohio University in Athens. Please, if you would like, use my name in your testimonials.

PASSED MY TEST ON MY FIRST TRY. I took the test March 28 for state licensing in Georgia. I totally let you
guide me throughout the CD's and the wonderful "Encyclopedia", and it worked. Along with prayer and a light
heart from your humor and way of presentation, I just had to write and thank you.

Dr.

I received your book and CD's late last year and took
my exam a month ago.
You guessed it! I
passed AND I can safely say your
Encyclopedia and CD's help me do it!!
I am telling everyone to get your book

they want to pass the COMPS. Plus, your humor and
insight made the reading interesting and almost
fun!

Dr. Rosenthal:
I just
wanted to thank you so much for your CD package. I listened to
all the discs four times over four months and took the
NCE. Today I
found out I passed. It has been over 25 years since I have been in grad
school and your CD's were invaluable.
I would listen to them on the way
to work everyday. My family felt they knew you as I they would hear:
'Hi, this
is Dr. Howard Rosenthal' on a regular basis. Thank you so
much for making this second career come true in my life!

I just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" for your audio program and Encyclopedia. They were the
only prep materials I used and I PASSED the NCE the first try! I finished grad school nine years ago (this is my second career
- I'm 61 years old). I will recommend your materials to everyone. I could not have passed the exam without your
materials. The content was much stronger than my graduate program! Thank you!

Dear Dr. Rosenthal:
I want to personally thank you for helping me pass the NCE. Your audio and encyclopedia
for counselors is the greatest material I have ever used to prep for any exam. I was administered the test 22 July 06. I listened
to your audio from April thru July and it really does work and it was worth every dime. You were the first thing I heard in
the morning and the last thing before going to bed, in fact, when I finally listened to music it was strange. I wanted to
be your next testimonial and thanks to you, I have obtained that goal.
God Bless,
Tillie M. Brown
Dr. Rosenthal,
I am just writing to say thank you for helping me to pass my NCE exam to
become a Licensed
Professional Counselor in Texas. I had previously
failed my first attempt to pass the Texas LPC exam in 2003
and since then
have been afraid to take the new NCE exam for fear of failing a second
time. After going
through another study course twice in the last three
years, I needed a change and a new approach. Your Encyclopedia
of
Counseling book and audio series was just the thing I needed. While the other
study course was very
thorough, I needed the simplicity that your course
offered and I passed with 30 points to spare! Thank you again for
helping me to
achieve my dream!
Sincerely,
Mary Jane Walker

Dear Dr.
Rosenthal:
I want to offer my heartfelt thanks for the work you have done with your NCE study materials.
I was skeptical at first of using study aids, (remembering old boring prep books for the GRE). But I was amazed at the
wealth of information in your Encyclopedia of Counseling. Also the CD's were very helpful even though I am more of a visual
learner than an auditory learner. My wife, who is a Pharmacist, listened to some of the CD's with me and remarked how
funny you are and how clear you are in your presentation of information. I really believe your materials along with
www.counselingexam.com were the main reasons I passed the NCE on the first try.
Thanks again and I hope your
birds, that were on one of the CD’s, pass the test soon as well!!
Follow your dreams!

"To all who are preparing for the National Counselor Exam, you do not need to look any further than Dr. Rosenthal's
website. As you prepare for the NCE, I HIGHLY suggest the 'Valedictorian Package' from Dr. Rosenthal. My advice: (1)
Start studying at least 6 months in advance, as there is a lot of material to cover; (2) Spend equal time on all subjects
as the NCE changes each time and you never know what material they will focus heavily on; and (3) Read Dr. Rosenthal's 'Encyclopedia
of Counseling' AND listen to his CD's and you WILL pass the NCE. I am living proof that if you take the time everyday to study,
using Dr. Rosenthal's study materials, you will be successful in passing the NCE. Dr. Rosenthal's NCE study materials are
THE best return on your investment. I passed the NCE and so can you!"

A friend in my neighborhood introduced me to Dr. Rosenthal's book about 3 months before the exam.
Soon after, I ordered the audio series as well. As I listened and read the book, I felt that I was really learning the
fundamentals of what I needed to know-from Freud's stages to the work of Piaget, it was all making sense using your materials.
Also, I loved your memory devices. For example, I saw a question on the exam that used Super and Self Concept in the
same question and I knew the answer! Thanks again Dr. Rosenthal.
God's best to you and yours,
Chris

Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
In December, I ordered your set of 15 cassette tapes to review
for the exit exam that I take in order to obtain my Master's degree in Counselor Education. I also purchased your
book about test preparation and 1,000 review questions. I found both of the materials to be very helpful. I also
get to say, "I passed!" Your materials were a wonderful review for me. I am so thankful that I
was able to find out about your resources.
Sincerely,
Ellen Carter Smith
Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
I took the CPCE last week, (which Liberty University uses as their
comprehensive exam), and used your material
to study. I spent weeks
listening to the audio CD's while I was driving and even got a portable CD
player to listen
when I was walking or working in the yard. I passed with a
very high score. Thank you very much for your help. I will
be taking my
state licensure exam now and I am very confident that I will pass that also.
You are doing a great
service to students who are anxious about the test.
Thanks again.
Chet Fowler
I wanted to say thanks
for helping me pass the exam. I ordered the book, audio program, and test anxiety CD. All great and very useful. I switched
careers from business to counseling. My post graduate work for the last two years has been organizational counseling, and
I was rusty on a great deal of what I had learned in school. I received the material in February and took the exam in April.
Not only did I pass, I scored very high. I decided to take the NCE and NCHME on the same day so the pressure was on. I know
I wouldn't have been able to do it without your material. However, the thing that stood out to me was when you signed the
copy of "Before you see your first client… "Best Wishes". That was really encouraging.
Thanks
again,
Jack Smith, LCPC
Dr Rosenthal,
I have been waiting with great anticipation for my
results after taking my exam on 4/19. Well, you did it again. I passed!! Your material allowed me to be
totally prepared for the test. After reading through and answering the exhausting 1000 questions in your book, combined
with listening to the audio materials, sitting down and looking at the test booklet seemed like a breeze. And the Super
Review was, well, SUPER. I listened to it two days before, the day before and driving to the test. I never got
to listen to the anxiety reducing CD because frankly, I felt so prepared, I wasn't anxious. After being out of school
for several years, your material was what saved me. Thank you!!
Geoff
Dr. Rosenthal - I
passed the NCE on the first try, thanks to your book,
"The Encyclopedia of Counseling". Your book was
a thorough
preparation for the test. I needed a refresher because I completed graduate school in 1989.
I have worked as a counselor since then but forgot some of the names and details of theories. Your book helped me get
the necessary tune-up for the test. I bought some other really dry materials and quickly disgarded them
when I
found inaccuarcies. THANK YOU for created a system that allowed me
to pass a difficult test, 16 years after graduate
school.
Sincerely, Marty Garrigues, M.S., NCC
I know that you must get many emails from people who have
used your study materials but I want to add just one more. I just passed LPC exam in Texas! It does feel good to say I PASSED!
I had been using other study materials and having a difficult time retaining all the information. Your relaxed approached
sprinkled with humor was what I needed to put the pieces together. The study time went by fast and did not seem like work
but more like a challenge. The audio materials were easy to use, I used the tapes whenever I had 15 or 20 minutes or on long
trips in the car. Thanks again! Glenda Collins-- Odessa, Texas.
Dear Dr. Rosenthal:
Just a note to let you
know I got my NCE scores today from the October 23rd, 2004 exam. My score was 130 with 93 needed to pass. Thank you so much
for making such excellent products. I would have gone nuts trying to study all that material without your concise, effective
review book and tapes. Your book and audio program are the absolute best study materials for the NCE on the market, bar none.
Your other materials are also top shelf. I wish you and yours a blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Carlton Lewis
Dr. Rosenthal, I used your book and audio materials to score 143 out of 160 on the NCE! Just wanted to express my
appreciation. Thanks. Brad Sears
Dear Dr. Rosenthal, I just passed the Texas LPC exam. It would be my pleasure
to testify for you your great help in passing the Texas LPC exam. I did not attend any workshops. I used your materials and
my text books. I had been listening to the tapes on my way to work and solving the problems from the Encyclopedia of Counseling
in the evening. I studied as faithfully as humanly possible. The Texas exam has a part for abnormal psychology, and that was
not a part of your material. The exam was on computer. It was 224 questions to be answered in 240 minutes. I finished the
224 questions in 195. I knew the result immediately after the test. Definitely knowing your material like the back of my hand
made the test a breeze. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Salwa Hanna, M.Ed.
Hi Dr. Rosenthal, First of all, I hope
you are having a happy holiday season. I would also like to tell you that because of you I have passed the LPC without difficulty.
After I acquired your study guides I simply tossed the other three I had. I highly recommend yours as a single source. I have
also bought various books of yours as a reference for counseling my clients. All of your books are to the point without mumbo
jumbo. Thank you. Tess Myers
I just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" for your audio prep package and Encyclopedia.
They were the only prep materials I used and I PASSED the NCE the first try! I will be recommending your materials to everyone.
I could not have passed the exam without your materials. The content was much stronger than my graduate program! Thank you!
James C. Farris Red Banks, MS
Dr. Rosenthal, I have enjoyed your tapes so much. I like your sense of humor along
with your kindness and gentleness. It's like sitting in my living room and having a chat with you. Fran Mastroianni
Dear Dr. Rosenthal, Thank you for being a caring person who is not just out to make a buck. As you know, my daughter Tiana's
house burned to the ground and she lost everything. It was terrible. No insurance. Money was tight and she was out of work.
She needed her counseling license to get a job. You may recall that I e-mailed you and shared the situation. You told me not
to worry and told me that you would loan her the materials free of charge. Tiana was excited. I feel guilty admitting this
to you but I told her not to get too excited. People promise stuff all the time and never keep their promises. Tiana and I
have had a lot of disappointments in our lives. Truthfully, I have never heard of a company doing anything like that and I
figured you wouldn't either. We both had tears in our eyes the next day when we received your Valedictorian Master Course.
You even sent it by express UPS. Tiana is now a licensed counselor thanks to your generosity. Yes, you have genuinely touched
our lives in a very special way. Unfortunately you probably won't be able to put this e-mail on your web pages because you
couldn't stay in business if you gave your materials out for free to everyone who needed your programs and books. Bless you.

"Dr. Rosenthal, You are an angel! Thank you so much for your help. You became part of my life
for five months. After a while you were my friend, a mentor, or like my father chastising me to rest if I was tired, sending
me to drink (nonalcoholic, of course) after the mini review (the Boot Camp). I could go on for all the times you had me cracking
up, laughing because of your comments and memory devices. What' I'm trying to say is that I'm so happy I do not know what
to say. THANK YOU . . . THANK YOU . . . THANK YOU. I did not pass the first time. I had a boring, long and tedious study guide
that obviously did not help. I do believe your book and audio programs were the key to my success. " Yours in Certified

"I would like to thank you for such a great resource. I purchased the ____ study
booklet which was no help at all. The Rosenthal study packet (the Encyclopedia and the audio tapes) made it easy for me to
study and gave me confidence when taking the exam. The study tips worked and the section on test anxiety helped my test taking
ability. On October 21st I took the exam. I received the results 24 November and have not stopped smiling yet. Yes the exam
was difficult, but with this study aid I was able to score high and pass the exam. Thank you Dr. Rosenthal. I highly recommend

"I recently took
the NCE. One of my instructors at Webster University whom I greatly admire and respect, Jan Klein, suggested that we use your
book as our study guide for the exam. I was somewhat reticent to believe this was all I needed. What a colossal misconception!
It was as though you were sitting there guiding me through the exam. Thank you for writing such a helpful, well-written, understandable
book. Your book was an invaluable tool in preparing for the test. I will continue to recommend this book as an "all you
need study tool." I look forward to reading your book on suicide." --Mary Jo Gilliland

"I passed! Thank you so much! This is my third time setting for the exam. I tried this expensive
long boring book called the ___________. I must have read this book eight times, all 600 pages. The computer program never
did work and the tapes . . . were poor compared to your audio materials. After I flunked the first time I called them and
they told me I would have to pay again for the next computer program. For the second test I found a computer program from
the state of ____ with a study guide from _______. Then for the third time I used your study material. It was easy to read
and fun to work with. I did not feel like I was being punished with hundreds of hours of review for the test. You were easy
to work with . . . I studied your material by itself for about two months and passed. This is fantastic because I have a learning
disability. Thanks again." --Bill Petty, Phoenix, AZ
"I thank God for your study materials. My testimonial
to your material will always share a special place in my heart. Please use my name. Thank you for all your moral support.
I passed the Praxis Exam. Your audio study guides, book, and email messages helped me to pass. This has been a long journey
and I am excited about passing the Praxis Exam." Loretta Harper "(Note: Although Dr. Rosenthal would never recommend
his materials as the sole means of study for other exams such as the Praxis, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family,
he routinely gets testimonials such as this. We have no doubt that his materials make a suberb supplement to books and programs
that are specifically designed for other licensing and certification tests.)"
"Yes, I passed! Your book
and your SUPER REVIEW BOOTCAMP were of great assistance. Thank you for all your efforts, including the rush mailing of the
review . . . after the 2 hour drive to the testing center even my wife and daughter said they were ready for the test by the
time we got there. Although, to be honest, they didn't seem to appreciate listening to it over and over as much as I did.
Some people. And thanks to your other book (Before You See Your First Client) I'll be better prepared as a counselor . . .
certainly it needed to be written. Although I'm sure you're already swimming in good karma, best wishes. Sincerely, Mark Ratta,

I am 48 years old and I have been finished with my academic work
at school since 1994. Since graduation, I had 2 children and I stayed home with them until they were of school age. When they
started school, I went back to complete my internship hours and exam for LPC. Before taking the exam, I did a review workshop.
I studied and failed the exam. I was very discouraged, to say the least. I did not know what to do because I did not know
of anyone who could help me (I have been out of school since 1994 and not in contact with any of my teachers or peers). I
decided to do the same review again, in hopes of gaining more knowledge on how to take this LPC test. Well, it wasn't the
review material that gave me the knowledge of how to take the test, it was the person behind me who had Dr. Rosenthal's Book,
The Encyclopedia of Counseling: Master Review and Tutorial for the NCE and State Counseling Exams. Now, I knew the real reason
why I was suppose to be at the review for the second time.........I started reading Dr. Rosenthal's Book and I was immediately
convinced that he understood my situation (When NO ONE ELSE AROUND ME DID). I contacted Dr. Rosenthal and I was amazed how
we connected so quickly. I needed to hear that he was going to get me through this and by the end of our conversation, I truly
believed that I could do this. After reading his book and listening to his tapes, including the test anxiety tape, I felt
truly ready (not just hoping to be ready) to take the test. I took my test on April 5, 2003. I finished 1 hour earlier than
expected and I PASSED. I never felt better about myself. Thank-you Dr. Rosenthal and the rest is beyond words. I can't begin
to express all of my sincere appreciation. P.S. Just to let you know, ever since I passed my exam, I have been asked to speak
to an intern group, from the university I went to 9 years ago. The professor asked me to talk about Dr. Rosenthal's Book and
Tapes.............. I can't wait to share my knowledge and experience of Dr. Rosenthal. Warmly, Maria Zeitz, RN, LPC
Dear Dr. Rosenthal:
I just received notice that I PASSED the NCE. Your book was a great help. I graduated from Western
Connecticut State University in 2001 but because of a busy schedule at work, I postponed taking the test. As an author I appreciate
the time and effort you took to develop an effective tool to help graduates continue with their chosen profession. I know
that getting feedback from your readers and students is the best gift for a teacher and author. Just wanted to send you another
testimonial. Keep up the good work and thanks. Ruth Cantor, Author of Parents Guide to Special Needs Schooling
Dear
Dr. Rosenthal, I bought your books and audio study guide sometime last winter . . . I just wanted to tell you that I passed
the NCE . . . I am so grateful that a friend of mine, who passed her exam the previous October, advised me to buy your study
guide. Now I can return the favor. I have recommended your books and tapes to all of my friends who will be taking the exam
next October. I believe that your study material covers everything that it takes to pass the exam. Thank you so much for caring
enough to put together such a great package. It works. Susan Russo

Dear Dr. Rosenthal,Help! I think I'm a Rosenthal junkie. Seriously,
I believe I own every book and audio tape or CD you have ever authored! I love your licensing materials, especially your Boot
Camp Super Review. Your lively style is in a class by itself. I eagerly await your articles in COUNSELOR MAGAZINE . . . totally
creative. We never know what you'll say next. Entertaining and always valuable. Also, I know you've heard this a thousand
times but your FAVORITE COUNSELING AND THERAPY TECHNIQUES book and your FAVORITE COUNSELING AND THERAPY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS

I am writing to say THANK YOU for
providing the study materials that allowed me to take and pass the National Counselor Exam. I used your book and tapes. The
exam was still a challenge, but I was able to pass it on my 1st try. I scored 124 points . . . the standard was 97. Please
feel free to use me as a reference. Again, thanks for creating these study devices. They work. Brent Snipes
Hi
Dr. Rosenthal, Please feel free to use my testimonial! There is no doubt in my mind that your program works; I would willingly
and openly expound to any skeptical individuals. The results for the exam arrived and I PASSED! I scored 126. Your study material
covers all relevant areas of knowledge required for the test in a lucid, organized format. In fact, your book, Encyclopedia
of Counseling, will remain on my bookshelf as a valuable reference source. Dr. Rosenthal, thank you for sharing such clarity,
patience and humor. Your contribution to the field of counseling is a consequential accomplishment. Renee Mullen
Hi Dr. Rosenthal, Happy to say, I passed the NCE. Your study guide was so comprehensive and thorough. Words cannot really
express my gratitude to your Stealth Package Program, which is truly the very best out there! I learned about topics/theories
not covered in graduate school. I am very grateful to you! Thanks again. Sharon H. Harrell, Ms.Ed. Board Eligible NCC Clinical

Dear Dr. Rosenthal: Just want you
to know that I used your audio program and book to prepare for the NCE. I received my results and passed with 140 out of 160
for my total score. Most of my course work was taken in the 80's so I had a lot of brushing up to do. Joan M. DiProspere,

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful study guides for the NCE. I bought the book and the tapes and
together they helped me pass my exam the first time. By the way, I have been out of grad school for 20 years. Thanks again
for the great help your book and tapes were to me. Thank you, Gary W. Smith, Ph.D., LPC

Dr. Rosenthal, I just wanted to add my thanks to your long list of grateful counselors
for helping me pass the National Counselor Exam. Your materials were excellent and I truly thank you for taking time to produce
such excellent study books and tapes. Perhaps just as important as the material you so thoroughly reviewed, were the words
of encouragement in your book and tapes. Thank you again! Susan Debell, RN, Ph.D., NCC
Thanks again and I hope
your birds, that were on one of the CD’s, pass the test soon as well!!

"To all who are preparing for the National Counselor Exam, you do not need to look any further than
Dr. Rosenthal's website. As you prepare for the NCE, I HIGHLY suggest the 'Valedictorian Package' from Dr. Rosenthal.
My advice: (1) Start studying at least 6 months in advance, as there is a lot of material to cover; (2) Spend equal time on
all subjects as the NCE changes each time and you never know what material they will focus heavily on; and (3) Read Dr. Rosenthal's
'Encyclopedia of Counseling' AND listen to his CD's and you WILL pass the NCE. I am living proof that if you take the time
everyday to study, using Dr. Rosenthal's study materials, you will be successful in passing the NCE. Dr. Rosenthal's NCE study
materials are THE best return on your investment. I passed the NCE and so can you!"

A friend in my neighborhood introduced me to Dr. Rosenthal's book about 3 months before
the exam. Soon after, I ordered the audio series as well. As I listened and read the book, I felt that I was really
learning the fundamentals of what I needed to know-from Freud's stages to the work of Piaget, it was all making sense using
your materials. Also, I loved your memory devices. For example, I saw a question on the exam that used Super and
Self Concept in the same question and I knew the answer! Thanks again Dr. Rosenthal.
God's best to you and
yours,
Chris McDuffie, MA, LAPC
Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
In December, I ordered your set of 15 cassette
tapes to review for the exit exam that I take in order to obtain my Master's degree in Counselor Education. I
also purchased your book about test preparation and 1,000 review questions. I found both of the materials to be very
helpful. I also get to say, "I passed!" Your materials were a wonderful review for me. I
am so thankful that I was able to find out about your resources.
Sincerely,
Ellen Carter Smith
Hi Dr. Rosenthal,
I took the CPCE last week, (which Liberty University uses as their
comprehensive
exam), and used your material to study. I spent weeks
listening to the audio CD's while I was driving and even got a
portable CD
player to listen when I was walking or working in the yard. I passed with a
very high score. Thank you
very much for your help. I will be taking my
state licensure exam now and I am very confident that I will pass that also.
You are doing a great service to students who are anxious about the test.
Thanks again.
Chet Fowler
I wanted to say thanks for helping me pass the exam. I ordered the book, audio program, and test anxiety CD. All great and
very useful. I switched careers from business to counseling. My post graduate work for the last two years has been organizational
counseling, and I was rusty on a great deal of what I had learned in school. I received the material in February and took
the exam in April. Not only did I pass, I scored very high. I decided to take the NCE and NCHME on the same day so the pressure
was on. I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without your material. However, the thing that stood out to me was when
you signed the copy of "Before you see your first client… "Best Wishes". That was really encouraging.
Thanks again,
Jack Smith, LCPC
Dr Rosenthal,
I have been waiting with great anticipation
for my results after taking my exam on 4/19. Well, you did it again. I passed!! Your material allowed me
to be totally prepared for the test. After reading through and answering the exhausting 1000 questions in your book,
combined with listening to the audio materials, sitting down and looking at the test booklet seemed like a breeze. And
the Super Review was, well, SUPER. I listened to it two days before, the day before and driving to the test. I
never got to listen to the anxiety reducing CD because frankly, I felt so prepared, I wasn't anxious. After being out
of school for several years, your material was what saved me. Thank you!!
Geoff
Dr. Rosenthal
- I passed the NCE on the first try, thanks to your book,
"The Encyclopedia of Counseling". Your
book was a thorough
preparation for the test.
Bless you.
Ida Williams
I had a boring, long and tedious study guide

have known. Your materials are a must buy in my opinion." --Jim Blackburn, M.A., LPC
"I PASSED!!!!
I just received my results this morning. All I did was listen to your tapes . . . never cracked a book. Thanks!" --Judith
A. Snead
Sincerely, Mark Ratta,
M.A. (P.C. as soon as the paperwork is done.)

Also, I know you've heard this a thousand
times but your FAVORITE COUNSELING AND THERAPY TECHNIQUES book and your FAVORITE COUNSELING AND THERAPY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
text will give any practitioner literally scores of new techniques to use in their practice. How did you get so many famous
therapists to contribute? You're the man! Mitch Kaplan, M.Ed., Private Practice

Most important for you to know is that I just received an A on a paper.
That Dictionary of Human Services is a piece of gold. For me, the dictionary redefines topics, terms, and other things. It
enables me to present things from my own perspective. You are just so wonderful Howard . . . -- Flora Fazio, Winner of the
2003 National Organization for Human Service Education (NOHSE) Student Award
Dear Dr. Rosenthal: Just want you
to know that I used your audio program and book to prepare for the NCE. I received my results and passed with 140 out of 160
for my total score. Most of my course work was taken in the 80's so I had a lot of brushing up to do. Joan M. DiProspere,
MS/CIT
I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful study guides for the NCE. I bought the book and the tapes and
together they helped me pass my exam the first time. By the way, I have been out of grad school for 20 years. Thanks again
for the great help your book and tapes were to me. Thank you, Gary W. Smith, Ph.D., LPC
John Moore in Chicago again.
After reading the Encyclopedia for my exam on April 20th, I treated myself to the homework book that you authored. What a
wonderful book! I will begin to use this with my clients soon. John D. Moore, MS, CADC American Military University, Author
